Neha S. Parikh, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist who specializes in general and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Parikh attended medical school at the University of Miami where she graduated first in her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. She was the recipient of the University of Miami Henry King Stanford Scholarship. After medical school, Dr. Parikh did her internship training in internal medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago.

Dr. Parikh then went on to specialty training at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery where she developed a special interest in ethnic skin and aging skin. At the University of Miami, Dr. Parikh trained with leading cosmetic dermatologists at the first university-based cosmetic dermatology center in the United States. Dr. Parikh has published peer-review scientific articles in several journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery. She is the recipient of Women’s Dermatologic Society Mentorship Award and the Dermatology Foundation of South Florida Clinical Excellence Award.

Dr. Parikh practiced in Miami before joining NYDG and brings her special interests in ethnic skin, lasers, acne, and aging skin. She has expertise in the use of agents to reduce aging lines including Botox, Restylane, Juvederm,and Radiesse. She also has an established reputation in the use of multiple lasers for anti-aging, acne scarring, melasma, rosacea, blood vessels, and hair removal. She is experienced with the Fraxel, Titan, VBeam, and Nd:Yag lasers. All these lasers are available at NYDG allowing Dr. Parikh to customize a treatment plan for each patient’s unique concerns and skin type.

Dr. Parikh is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a voluntary faculty member at Columbia University’s Department of Dermatology. She lives with her husband and son in Manhattan.
