Our medical staff at NYDG includes a Doctor of Internal Medicine skilled at overseeing treatment for STD’s, including HIV. Our Board Certified dermatologists treat the skin manifestations of STD’s and also perform cosmetic corrections on conditions like lipatrophy, or facial wasting, associated with HIV or other disease. Sculptra, a poly-L-lactic acid filler, is an injectable substance that is FDA-approved for this specific purpose.
